Christmas Market Day at Heroes Square

The Ministry of Energy, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the BIDC and other stakeholders joined forces to organize a series of travelling, weekend marketplaces across Barbados. The market day events, which took place from 27th November, 2020 to 19th December, 2020 gave micro and small businesses, with locally produced goods, an opportunity to sell and promote their products to consumers in search of gift items. Shoppers could find the perfect gift as they discovered and shopped from a variety of artisans, boutique businesses and $20.00 challenge entrepreneurs. Each market place was free to enter and featured various attractions like food, music, entertainment, karaoke, heritage tours, crafts, gifts and more for the entire family.
