BIDC Reduces In-Office Service due to Ash Fall
Due to the significant ash fall in Barbados resulting from explosive eruptions of the La Soufriere volcano in St. Vincent and the need for equipment continuity of its plants at Head office, Princess Alice Highway and the Small Business Centre at Fontabelle, the BIDC has been forced to suspend in-office visits until further notice.
Our service to you will not be compromised as we remain committed to serving you.
Do stay in contact with the Corporation remotely through our website, social media channels and by phone for continued updates, notices and changes.
Please note that our staff will continue to work virtually during this period. Please refer to our staff directory should you need to contact us. We would be happy to assist you or answer any queries you may have.
Our Certification Service (Drop-boxes for Exporters) will continue to be provided at our Head Office daily from Monday to Friday at the times listed below:
Document Drop Offs: 8:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. | Pick Up from 2:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Please note that, in keeping with COVID protocols, we would wish to discourage walk-ins and ask that companies kindly adhere to the schedule. However, we will give consideration to unforeseen emergencies as far as possible.
All payments should be placed in the Payment Box located in the Reception Area.
